This is a course created for the families of children and young people experiencing EBSA (Emotionally Based School Avoidance). It is a supportive online resource designed to help parents nurture their child’s school engagement and wellbeing. With chapters aimed at understanding EBSA, activities to do with your child, suggestions of how to work with schools, and more!    

This course was created after the success of our EBSA Horizons for Educational Psychologists and EBSA Horizons for School Staff courses (link).

My role:

Supported the recordings, editied/animated the videos, created graphic assets like the logo and course workbook

This video explains the stress bucket metaphor for stress. We also explain how to use a printable handout.

This video appears in a later chapter the course, and explains why it is important not to simply force the child to go to school.
